I used to go to The Joint Chiropractic in Franklin, the kind of place where you walk in, they adjust everything whether you need it or not, and you’re out the door in ten minutes. It wasn’t fixing anything. I was going once or twice a week and still dealing with the same neck and hip pain. When I started seeing Hunter Hilkewich at LifeClinic, he told me his goal was to get me down to needing a chiropractor once or twice a month, not a week. His business model isn’t built around keeping you dependent. It’s about getting your body healthy and keeping it that way so you only come in when something’s actually wrong. He doesn’t adjust everything. He evaluated me head to toe, built a specific treatment plan for my neck, shoulder, and hip, and only works on what needs it. Every appointment is a full thirty minutes, and he’s given me exercises to do at home to strengthen the areas that were causing problems. I still have my Joint membership for when I’m traveling or need a weekend adjustment, but every time I go there now, the difference is obvious. What really stood out was how Hunter treated me when I needed to come in last minute. He made time for me that same day and then again the following day. Another time I missed an appointment, and he fit me in later that day instead. It wasn’t a big gesture, but it said everything about how he sees his patients. If you want someone who’s actually trying to fix the problem instead of keeping you on a weekly schedule, go see Hunter. He’s the real deal.
