After years of severe lower back pain with a degenerative disc that was causing a bad herniation I was told that I needed a total disc replacement at the age of 30. I almost went through with back surgery until I found out about spinal decompression. I did some research on it and decided that I wanted to try it before I got something done permanently. I was nervous because nothing that I have done in the past worked but I’ve heard great things about spinal decompression and how it had relieved so many people’s pain. I came to Dr. Shauna and she set me up with 15 treatments and every time I did one I felt better. I would do a decompression session followed by my adjustment. I completed all sessions and it’s been about a month now and I still feel great! I went from barely being able to stand up and constant on going pain that would put me in tears almost everyday to almost pain free! If you’re having back issues and are in pain give spinal decompression a chance! I was hesitant at first but I am so glad I decided to give it a try because the thought of surgery scared me. I highly recommend Dr. Shauna she has been so great and hands down the best chiropractor I have ever been to! Thank you!!

Dr. Shauna is conveniently located in Mt. Pleasant off Wando Park Blvd. She took the time to do a thorough consult to understand my medical history and health concerns. Her adjustments were gentle and effective. She's laid back and easy to connect with. I really enjoyed her process and technique. It felt like getting an adjustment from a friend.
