I will preface this by saying that I am not one who normally writes reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience. At first I was thrilled to hear about all of the techniques Dr. Scardino uses and he took the time to discuss all emotional traumas as well as physical, stressing how emotional can be the most powerful. He asked about my latest car accident and encouraged me to call my car insurance and tell them I have pain from it (as he said all car accidents cause damage) - so sure I called to document it and turns out I have “bad” car insurance which would be close to impossible to recover money from. At this point I had paid $500 to him ($100 is just for initial visit and tests) and was asked to pay another $700 by a later date. I was unsure as I told him this was a lot to pay since he’s out of network but I was still eager to try for a bit. However, he increasingly got more disrespectful and unprofessional with each visit. He would mock my husband for being cheap with his money mutilple times (for having bad car insurance and for me saying the $1200 was a lot to pay since he’s out of network). One time he asked how it felt to marry for love and not money (while in front of my 2 young children). Since we just moved to the area I was still meeting with other chiropractors who were in network - when I told him this he became defensive saying we will never find one as good as him and I was crazy for even looking. As far as how I felt physically after 8-10 adjustments was not anything special. The day I told him I would prefer to hold off on more payments and appointments until the new year since he was out of network, he became extremely unprofessional. As he was treating me on the machine (which he boasted was my time to relax) he berated me telling me this isn’t a pay as you go service, etc. I told him this was very stressful during treatment, and he tried to turn it around and tell me I was stressing him out (since when is it the patient’s job to calm the chiropractor?) There were many more words and I ended up taking my kids out of there ASAP and stopping treatment. Honestly, it was such an awful experience to have with a dr you are entrusting for you and your children’s care. I truly hope others have a better experience than I did, but just beware, he does seem to turn and get combative when he feels you are not going to follow his exact plan.

I’ve had neck and upper back issues, pain and headaches for the past 15 years due to a previous car accident when I was rear ended and had whiplash. I’ve tried treatment through other means of medical care only to be told that surgery would be my only solution to the pain. I started seeing Dr. Scardino in mid September and have experience much relief from the neck issues I’ve had in the past. I would highly recommend his chiropractic services. His initial evaluation was thorough and easy. He is easy to talk and very willing to work with you as much as possible to help you reach your optimal health goals.

My family has been going to Dr. Scardino for more than 5 years. He has treated my daughter for torticollis and back ache. My son has Autism and has benefited greatly with the Pro Adjuster. I have been going to Dr. Scardino for my sinuses and lower back issues I have. I also have osteoarthritis in my hip joints and with his treatment and help I don't have to take any pain medication.
