Dr. Shirk is a true master. I've seen countless chiropractors for over 40 years. And while none were bad, not many were as effective as I needed. After seeing another local chiropractor for sometime due to insurance coverage, I could feel it was time to see the good doctor again. I wasn't in pain and overall felt normal. I could've saved the money for some thing else - experience told me I should go in. Ironically, it was one of the best treatments I've had in years. I immediately felt more balanced with increased blood flow. As a master in my own field, I place incredibly high value on the care, professionalism and friendliness of Dr. Shirk. I often hear him speaking with other patients, always putting their well-being first. I have learned more about self-care from Dr. Shirk then perhaps any doctor in my life. While his reputation precedes him, it is difficult to, accept the good doctor is retiring very soon. I have booked as many appointments as possible, and look forward to his successor, whom I know will carry the torch with honor. My only regret is not being more consistent coming in despite paying cash out of pocket. Dr. Shirk should, in my viewpoint open a school to teach future generations, the true mastery of the human body. No praise could be enough. Beyond that, we always enjoy engaged conversations, which adds to the immersive sense of compassionate care, with a few laughs along the way. Perhaps, in a way, we have kept Dr. Shirk a local secret. Knowing he has tirelessly worked to help keep a healthy community enjoying the PNW lifestyle. I hope future patients will continue to support the legacy built by this exemplary Doctor. Anecdotally: Those who knew Dr. Amir Arberman (the Gnome) and Dr. Gary Blair, now both retired - will lament losing yet another phenomenal provider. The three best chiropractors I have know in my life. As a technician/mechanic, an ex engineer, I especially appreciated Dr. Shirk's extremely technical yet holistic approach. I could not fathom higher standards: 6 Gold Stars!

I’ve been bringing my family to Dr Shirk for a few years and he has always been helpful & encouraging. His goal is to get us out of treatment, not to rely on more and more visits. He’s gentle with adjustments, and gives us exercises to strengthen the problem areas. Lura makes scheduling appointments easy & we can usually get in within a day or two of calling.

Dr Shirk is wonderful to deal with. Our entire family has visited with Dr shirk over the years and I have no concerns with referring any of my friends to him. He will take time to make sure you understand what needs to be done and great with the kids also.
