Dr. Lefkowitz and Dr. Crawford really listen to what I have to say. Both individuals will do their best to make sure that you're satisfied with your chiropractic needs. Dr. Lefkowitz ensures that I fully understand the exercises that he prescribes to me. Along with making sure that my form is correct. Dr. Crawford is great and finding any issues that may have occurred since last speaking with him and doing what he can to alleviate them. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the care that I have gotten from both Dr. Lefkowitz and Dr. Crawford.

Recently we moved from FL to NY (we know....it should be the other way around!) Started a new job at a private Golf Club on the Purchase/Greenwich line. Experiencing a right hip problem from years of riding in a golf cart (for work) and riding in a car hitting potholes, etc. a jarring action would throw my hip out of joint. Upon each occurrence (it would happen every day) = "debilitating", could not walk, no weight on my right leg/hip. I would try to self-adjust my hip area - just to walk again. My wife seeing me "hobbling" and "self-adjusting" said this is ridiculous and she came across Dr. Jan Lefkowitz on his state of the art "Body In Balance" website. Humm...she said this is an interesting mix: chiropractic, muscle movement, exercise, massage, Reiki and acupuncture. So, I ended up in Dr. Jan's Westchester office (easy to get to from Greenwich area) with Dr Jan and his "all-star" cast of professional service providers: Dr. Crawford and the great Erika to name a few. This past Fall, after four (4) months of intensive rehab under Dr. Jan's care (two visits a week) I am back brand new with my hip 100% in place. No pain, no back pain, back walking, running (ran two 5K's) and hit the slopes skiing for the first time in 30 years. Go see Dr. Jan Lefkowitz. Hobble in and ski out!

I am so thankful that I found Body In Balance. I have been seeing Dr. Karin for several months and it has been life changing. My upper back was riddled with knots and my lower back was always tight on one side, occasionally shooting daggers or locking up on me. Dr. Karin has been treating me with the upmost care and professionalism. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Through her help, as well as nutrition counseling with Dr. Jan, I feel completely revitalized in my body. Dr. Jan has helped me reduce inflammation, and lose and keep off 15 lbs, which was my goal. I have to mention massages with Erika as well, as she is a natural healer and probably the best massage therapist I have ever seen. When we discuss my concerns she listens and really focuses on what I’ve communicated. One of my favorite things about this office is that they are incredibly transparent about pricing. They have many different options for your needs and they go over those up front. I am so satisfied with the care I have received there in every way.
