EDIT: The owner appeared to reply, but I cannot see the entire response. I don't want to. Please do not attempt to respond to me in any way again. I'm still reeling and any further contact makes it worse. STOP IT. Your words do not undo what I'm dealing with. I SAID #(*( NO. Several times. Concern about this ONLY after seeing bad publicity says you never really thought about it. Arrogant, cocky, patriarchal "I'm the "doctor" so I know better than you. I reviewed this business via a link they sent to me. How odd that it doesn't seem to show up on the reviews that scroll across their business page, which all seem to be only 5 star. Interesting indeed. I firmly told this chiropractor that I did not want my neck snapped. I told his secretary once and I told him at least three times, over two visits NOT to do that. He pushed, saying it would be only force necessary for a 1-year-old child. I clearly said no even to that. After the first visit, I did feel better, so I decided to give it another try. Again, I reenforced I did not want forceful adjustment of my neck. He stretched it a little, and then without warning or seeking consent, he gave my neck a sharp jerk. This is a complete violation of my person. There's a term for touching someone without consent. I had specifically told him NO multiple times. I'm now dealing with the fallout of my wishes being ignored. I had my husband call him because he certainly had paid no attention to my words already. While he was apparently somewhat apologetic, my husband didn't feel he was adequately contrite given the emotional trauma this has caused me. His attitude clearly said that my boundaries over what I will allow to be done to my body don't matter. Consent matters. He did not have consent to do that. I flat out told him NO. He also seemed to be very comfortable putting his hands on my body just talking to me, like a hand on my thigh. As my daughter said when I told her about this, "EWWWW." Then there's the immediate solicitation of five-star reviews, by both text and email nearly immediately after the first visit. I literally had to STOP the texts. I'm certainly not giving most people a five-star review after only one visit. He also seems absolutely certain he can fix everything that is wrong with you just by what he does. I think he really believes that, which is rather concerning. If someone has a serious issue they don't address because they believe this, it could be very detrimental to their health. All I wanted was minor adjustments to put my very flexible body back in alignment so I can work and live without pain.
