After my car accident, I was honestly just hoping to find somewhere that could help me feel normal again. What I found at Total Care was way more than that. From the moment I walked in, the energy in this office was different. Everyone is so warm, so kind, and so genuinely happy to see you that it doesn’t even feel like a doctor’s office… it feels like family! Dr. Tracy McBride does most of my adjustments and I absolutely adore her! She is so personal and intentional every single visit. She doesn’t just adjust you and send you on your way. She checks in, she listens, and she gives me specific stretches to do at home that have truly helped my recovery. I have improved so much since coming here and I know it’s because she actually cares about the full healing process. Dr. Todd P. is also amazing and brings the same level of care and professionalism! And listen… Danielle and Sharon? I love them both so much! They make every visit feel easy, welcoming, and uplifting. The whole staff really has become like family to me. I genuinely look forward to coming here because I know I’m going to walk out feeling better physically and emotionally. It’s rare to find a place where you heal and leave smiling every time. If you’re on the fence, go. You’ll understand exactly what I mean after your first visit. They even have calming music and Bible verses on the screen in the therapy room so you can truly relax and receive your chiropractic massage.

I’ve been a patient here for years. The staff is awesome! The clinicians are very knowledgeable and have good bedside manner, I never feel rushed. The support staff are very friendly and they really care about your comfort. When I have scheduling conflicts or I am in pain, they are very flexible and work with my schedule. 3🌟 Total Care Injury & Pain Center – Gonzales was assigned to me as a VA network provider in late 2022 and was largely disappointing with the exception of Dr. Britni Jordan-Wilson's excellent care. Her compassionate disposition and helpful treatment stood out, but the clinic's operational issues and lack of patient privacy significantly overshadowed this. The combination of unresolved privacy issues and poor communication with the VA led me to seek care elsewhere. Dr. Britni was fantastic. She understood my needs and approached my care with compassion and sensitivity, especially after a previous unsettling experience elsewhere. She made me feel heard, answering my questions promptly and clearly. Her recommendations, like suggesting a massage gun for muscle tightness, were spot-on and incredibly helpful in managing my back and neck pain. Routine adjustments with Dr. Jordan-Wilson were done in a private room, but other treatments took place in an open area where multiple patients received treatments simultaneously. The communal area offered a variety of treatments, including TENS stimulation and a neck-to-foot massage chair, catering to different therapeutic needs. A major downside was the lack of privacy in the massage room, which was right off the waiting area with no barrier to shield patients from view. This setup made me feel exposed and uncomfortable during sessions that required partial disrobing. Despite multiple assurances from the clinic staff that they would install a partition, it never happened. This broken promise highlighted a clear area for improvement, and I ended up refusing further massages because of it. I was also frustrated by the lack of communication regarding the clinic's network status with the VA. The clinic pushed the responsibility of VA paperwork onto me, which was not something I could handle. Despite numerous calls to both the clinic and the VA, the office staff were unhelpful. It wasn't until I asked again about the privacy partition that I was informed that the clinic was no longer networked with the VA - almost as an afterthought. On a positive note, the clinic was prompt in gathering my records for transfer; a disk was ready for pickup just a day after I requested it. I hope this clinic has since addressed these issues, as prioritizing patient privacy and communication is essential for providing a positive and respectful experience for all patients.
