I can't reccomend Dr. Oullette and his staff enough!! Prior to spinecor, my child was in a boston brace. He started at about a 37 degree curve and within just 2 months of being in the boston brace, he lost core muscle strength (which is a big deal for a kiddo with low tone), was no longer filling his left lung fully, his original curve progressed to around 50 degrees (can't remember exact), and had developed a new curve at the top of his spine. As very concerned parents, we researched and found spinecor! We promptly got our child in and fitted for a new brace. Today, about 2.5 weeks later, he got a new xray at the local childrens hospital and his top curve is gone, he is filling his left lung almost fully again, and his original curve is back to the 35 degree range. And not only that, but he is also comfortably and easily wearing the brace at least 20 hours a day if not 24, outside of showers and things of that nature. The fact he can have his spine held stable with the possibility of correction while also being able to play and exercise means the world to us! If you've come from boston braces or similar, you know how difficult it is for kiddos to wear them. While no brace can give you a 100% guarantee, I highly highly highly reccomend spinecor brace and Dr. Oullette. He is so kind and so very knowledable. He takes the time to answer every single question you have and explain everything in detail. We have never had a doctor that takes so much time to make sure our boy is taken care of. We drive from NW Arkansas for our appoinments, but Dr. Oullette and his team are worth it!

My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis and 34 degree curve. My daughter found Dr. Ouellette after googling soft braces. The SpinCor brace was more comfortable for her than the traditional brace. We travel from Arkansas to Texas for her appointments and in 7 months my daughter’s back is straight. She will continue to be monitored to make sure she stays stable. I am so thankful to Dr. Ouellette and Dr. Cattarulla. They are absolutely amazing!!! I recommend them 100 percent!!!!!

Our daughter had mild scoliosis and kyphosis. Dr Ouillette was outstanding and we appreciated his confidence in correction with the soft brace and explanation of how it works. My daughter was 19 at start of treatment. The brace was unnoticeable under her clothes. After 1 year, she was done with treatment. A couple of follow ups and she remained in good position. Definitely worth it. Thank you!!

Here is an honest review of my brace experience. I am a young working adult who will have about 45* or more scoliosis for as long as I live. First, the staff is amazing and super helpful, but be prepared for the monetary cost. The brace and first appointment are around $5,500, so SAVE UP!! If you have insurance, you’ll have to do the heavy lifting to get it paid for because they will not file it for you. Be sure this is the road you want to walk because you cannot return the brace once fitted to you. I had immense buyers remorse after purchasing for about 2-3 weeks. There are follow up appointments through my 18 month term which cost $300-400 each as well, so budget that in. Second, while the brace is as comfortable as can be, there are limitations. There are spots where it itches and constructs too tightly, causing bruises. It can dig into your armpits if wrapped like mine, and their extra Velcro holders won’t stay long. Because of the way it has to wrap around my torso, it constricts my chest and makes it incredibly difficult to breathe. I become short of breath easily, can’t run, and become light headed and dizzy on occasion. I’ve had negative reactions to medications in conjunction with the braces that have almost lead me to the emergency room, so if you’re having an important doctor’s visit, DO NOT WEAR THIS!!! I would not recommend this for someone with asthma or to talk with them to see how the corset will wrap. Thirdly, the brace can be a pain to wash. It requires special detergent and an hour and a half to two hours drying time in the dryer on air only. The first month I wore it, I saw a significant increase in the electric bill. It will dry in about two days line drying if you don’t have a dryer. Plus, they recommend you wash the bottoms daily “as underwear.” As a tip from me to you, I have reusable cloth panty liners to put on, and I’ll wash those daily and the pants weekly. Mind you, I work an office job, so I’m not as active as some. If you sweat more, I recommend washing more because they wick the moisture pretty well. All in all, the brace is good, but it is a medical device and should be treated as such. I find it inconvenient, and it can significantly lower my confidence level at times, but I see my spine is stable. That’s what I really bought it for after all. In any case, stay safe out there. This degenerative disease is not a sprint but a marathon. Head high and back curved is how I’ll be going through life. ♡

Dr. Brian has been working on my neck and back for a month now. He is one of the most professional scoliosis doctors. I would definitely recommend this practice. Such a beautiful office.
