I’ve been coming to Myer Chiropractic since a car accident in 2020, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They’ve been family-owned since 1958, and you can really feel that history in the way they treat people. I never met the founder, Dr. David, but his daughter, Dr. Julie, and her son, Dr. Travis, are both fantastic. Their focus on upper cervical care was the real game-changer for my recovery—it’s what ultimately healed my spine (upper, mid, and lower) and got me back to jogging. Now, I just go in a few times a year for "tune-ups” as part of my normal health care / self care. They truly all care about your health. From the front staff to the doctors. Everyone is calming, encourages healing, and happy to be a work.

I have been going here for several years for maintenance on my migraines. The cervical adjustments are pivotal for me in keeping it all under control. So with that, I was already in love with this place. Then, last year, my husband was in a pretty bad car accident. We came to Mayer to get him evaluated and on a treatment plan. While it has been a long and arduous road, the level of care and detail that Dr. Hunt has provided him and his recovery is amazing and far exceeds what I ever hoped to expect. He has improved under their care, and I am incredibly confident that they will continue to help on this road. Additionally, the staff are really friendly, they worked with our insurance and were always willing to help navigate our crazy schedules.

For years, I battled a myriad of symptoms including dizziness, anxiety, mood swings, back pain, shortness of breath, forgetfulness, and even a perceived "short leg" that a Las Vegas doctor had attributed to me being born that way. After a long journey, I finally discovered the underlying cause of my troubles: a misaligned atlas. Dr. Hunt was the one who enlightened me on how this misalignment was responsible for all my symptoms. My situation continued to deteriorate, leading me to visit the ER three times in less than 8 months. Despite being reassured that everything was fine and attributing my symptoms to panic attacks, I was eventually referred to a cardiologist during my last ER visit. To my surprise, this cardiologist immediately prescribed heart attack medication within 5 minutes of my appointment. After undergoing various tests over a two-month period, all results indicated a healthy heart without any issues. However, by the time I received these results, I had already started receiving medical treatments at LifeWorks Wellness in Clearwater, Florida, where I was introduced to Dr. Hunt. This turned out to be a pivotal moment in my health journey. I am at a loss for words to express my immense gratitude towards Dr. Hunt, Dr. Travis, and the entire team at Mayer Chiropractic. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care have had an incredibly positive impact on my life. While it may take some time to fully heal all my symptoms, I am confident that I am on the right path towards a better and healthier life, all thanks to them.
