I recently moved from where Jason Rosenberg practices and tried a new chiropractor, and it's only now that I'm realizing how good I had it with Jason Rosenberg. Originally, a friend had recommended Rosenberg, and after trying a few chiropractors in DC, I ended up going to Rosenberg maybe 15 times over 5 years. Pros: -Rosenberg is a tall dude, strong enough to move your body this way and that, quickly and with confidence. Between me and another person I referred to Rosenberg, I know that Rosenberg can handle tall clients who are skinny (e.g., 6'1" 185") and also larger rugby builds (e.g., 6'1" 275lbs). -Rosenberg handles the body in such a way that you're not worried he's going to paralyze you. At some other chiropractors, I've always had a background fear that they'd cripple me, but I don't have those concerns with Rosenberg. -Rosenberg doesn't try to sell you anything (nothing to sell in his office), nor does he try to put you on an expensive "treatment plan" or recommend a lot of expensive tests. He'll gladly see you many times, or ad hoc when you need it. No sales pressure. -Rosenberg handles whatever random issue you throw at him. Traditional back and neck stuff sure, but I've also gone to him with lots of other issues in other parts of the body. No awkwardness around treating problems in sensitive areas such as glute, pelvis, etc - Rosenberg works whatever area needs to be worked, never making it awkward, always remaining professional. -Office is well-lit with windows. I've been to some other chiropractors where I went into a windowless basement where I started to get a creepy vibe. Nothing like that with Rosenberg. -Availability is very good, and he's flexible. He's only in the office certain days of the week, and he's always seem to got a client on the way out when I arrive and a client arriving as I leave (so he's busy), but he always seems to fit me in. He doesn't have an online scheduling tool (unfortunately), but I text him and I've always been able to see him within a few days without problem. This is VERY IMPORTANT, because when you get a pain or injury, you don't want to have to be waiting three weeks to get an appointment. Rosenberg will sometimes even contact other patients to move them to accommodate the timing I need. -Rosenberg treats you well. I am not a regular client of his; I come in ad hoc when I get an issue, and then I vanish for months. Despite not being a regular, Rosenberg treats me like a very valued patient. He's kind, friendly, pleasantly conversational, but focused on the job at hand. -Rosenberg is efficient AF. If he's assessing me for a new issue, I might be with him for 20 minutes. If it's me seeing him again for the same issue, it might be 10 or 15 minutes. At first, I found this really disappointing; I wanted more time with him. But, after seeing other chiropractors, I realized that what Rosenberg does in 10 minutes is superior to what others do in 45-60 minutes. -Rosenberg will mix in some pressure work via hand when needed. Again, you're not with him very long, so it's not like you're getting a massage or full physical therapy. But it's nice for him to have some massage/physical therapy skills in his toolkit. -Price is so reasonable! And he's really flexible/accommodating around different insurance plans. So don't assume that you can't afford him if he's not in network. (He's in-network for me.) Also, he accepts Apple Pay at the office, which is nice. I've never had any problems with insurance billing with him. Cons -No online scheduling system. But it's really easy to just text him and ask for an appointment, and he responds quickly. -Appointments are very short. But this is adequately mitigated by the low price and high skill/efficiency. -Only works in DC a couple days a week. You know his schedule in advance, so you're not surprised by this. -A couple years ago, I did have a couple appointments where he was running rather late (other clients before me). But that hasn't happened recently. And I believe it was due to his accommodating late patients.
