I’ve had nothing but poor communication with the dental side.to get app is a joke it takes months. You’re treated as a number and they do half ass work to milk your insurance. I’ve had to I’ll them aside and have them explain to me what procedures I needed and why aren’t they doing the work that is needed and I was rushed out of the office and was even told to find another dentist if I didn’t like there service.the dental assistant were very nice and they seemed to be the only ones that cared. The receptionist has no people skills and I still wonder why she even has that job. Long story short I’m very dissatisfied with them and called the head office to let them know how this office needs to have a meeting about how there not meeting the patients needs. I’ve had to go to the er several times over a tooth infection that eventually became a jaw infection. Could have been prevented if they would have done the necessary work when I was there complaining about my issues from the start. I’m not going to them any longer due to my outcome. I do appreciate the work I did have but it shouldn’t have taken a yr+ for what was done. Good luck

Have been coming here for years, and it's always a hit or miss with this office. Kim Tucker has horrible bedside manner and treats you like an idiot for even coming in if you have any health concerns, so I would recommend to see someone else if you can. She should just retire at this point if she's not going to show compassion, understanding, and patience to her patients who have health concerns. I wish there were another provider who would take walk-ins but sadly it's mainly Kim Tucker who you'll see. Christine McLemore is great, but her schedule is always so full that you won't get an appointment till months later. And trying to schedule an appointment is such a hassle because you have to use the call center or go to the office in-person. My child's pediatrician, Kelly Hughes is wonderful! Listens to all my concerns about my child's health and answers my questions without making me feel like I'm dumb for even asking. All-in-all, this place can either be so helpful or a nightmare to deal with.

If i could give no stars i would. Honestly worst experience ever went on the 21st got prescribed an inhaler and the Dr said if I had any issues with insurance to contact her i have called everyday since my appointment to try and figure out what's going on. First they needed to send a prior authorization for the medication she wanted to give me which took me 2 weeks and physically going back in and come to find out they were sening the prior authorization to the pharmacy and didnt send it to my insurance company. They even tried to tell me that the pharmacy had my wrong insurance on file. After they finailly se t it to my insurance it got denied they put in another inhaler my insurance didnt cover. We are now at June 12th and still dont have an inhaler because I haven't been prescribed anything that is covered under my insurance. I have been jumping through hoops but still haven't gotten the medication I need. The nurses blow me off like it isnt an issues and no one wants to fix it. They won't give me the direct number to the tehachapi facility to contact my doctor and my Dr always leaves early and even when they send emergency messages it could take 72 hours for the doctor to see it. I have never had this many issues trying to get an inhaler filled before. There is no way to message your Dr directly no way to get a hold of anyone if issues come up and I have been having to be a middle man between them and my insurance to figure out what is covered but come to find out the prescription code sent into the pharmacy was wrong and that's why my insurance isn't covering it and now it's probably going to be another 3 days or more till I get a response. I am not happy. And calling the 800 number they can't do anything.

I know most health care rating are low because you go in sick, grumpy and tired. I was definitely all three of those things today. From the receptionist all the way to out the door, they didn't give me a single thing to complain about. Great care all the way through.

I don't know how this business exists. They are a mess. They scheduled me for a phone appointment to hear my test results. Weird. They feel the need to charge us money just to give test results on a scheduled phone call. Why not just call me and not charge me for a minute long phone call? Okay...whatever. I guess charging me for that can be thing. But maybe, just maybe, the phone appointment should take place during the scheduled time of the phone appointment? Instead, I was called two hours before my appointment. So, I picked up a phone call at a random time and I was charged for an appointment after a 30 second phone call. Just like that, I owe them a co-pay. I told my provider that I was busy driving in an area with poor cell signal and I was not prepared to have THIS conversation. She forced it on me anyway. Which is bad for several reasons. The most basic reason is, she didn't ask me if anyone else was in the vehicle with me. She just told me my test results without knowing that I was alone. She was in too much of a hurry to care whether or not she was violating HIPAA rules. Sorry if I don't under HIPAA rules but maybe, just maybe, someone was in that car with me and I didn't want to explain to them what testing I had and why. During the call, I could barely understand what she said but I couldn't stop her from talking. I couldn't ask a follow up question. This was, at most, a 45 second phone call. It gets worse. They charged me for this "appointment." Seven months and many hours of my time were wasted before they decided to forgive this charge. Why were seven months and hours of my time wasted? This company sucks. I would have never sunk this much time into avoiding such a small charge if I knew it was going to be this much of a PITA. Almost everyone I talked to agreed that I should not be charged for this "appointment" but no one could do anything about it. Many times I was promised a call back that I never received. Many times I was told the issue had been sorted out when it had not. A few times I was told that I need to talk to the "site administrator" for the Tehachapi office. FYI, Omni Family Health has about 20 locations in and around Kern County. I never talked to that person. I don't know who they are. I tried. I really did. I called. I showed up. I never heard from that person, even after being told, several times, I would be getting a call back from them, it never happened. At one point, I was told I would get a call back from the billing department. Weeks later, they had not called me back. So I called again and somehow got a hold of them. They couldn't do anything for me. Still, I foolished asked why they didn't call me back. I was told that, I had already received a called back. it was in their call log for me. I asked them what the time and date was for that call, and looked in my phone history for it. They didn't call me. My phone's call log didn't show a call at that time. My cell phone carrier also didn't show any call at that time. Instead of calling me back, one of their employees made up a fake call with notes and everything. They just typed out what I had said in the message I left and pretended that they called me. I'm serious. It makes me feel as if I'm going crazy but this happened. I finally found the number for their corporate office. I talked with a woman in corporate. She was okay. She understood what needed to be done. She agreed with everything I was saying. For some reason, my problem had to be run up the chain to the "chief medical officer." Really? Over this small charge, we have to get the chief medical officer involved? Why does the chief medical officer, for a company that has 20 locations, have to get involved for such a small dollar amount? Billing called me in June. They told me I do not owe the money. Then they sent me a bill for it! I've been told by at least three people at Omni that I owe them nothing. This was nearly a year long customer service caca storm. But if I call into their billing system today, I still owe the money.
