I have been coming to Healing Hands Wellness Center for a monthly massage for three years. The therapists are skilled and well trained and I’ve never left an appointment feeling dissatisfied. I’m 75 and I feel it’s a gift I give to myself each month in order to maintain my physical and mental health. I highly recommend them.

I had a deep tissue massage scheduled with Adrienne. Prior to the massage starting, she asked me what I was looking for. I told her I had most of my tension in my shoulders and neck, and was looking for a deep tissue massage with firm pressure. During the massage, I had to ask her 3 times to increase her pressure to firm, as she continued to slip into a light, Swedish style massage. At a certain point, I completely stopped her and asked her if she was able to do a deep tissue. I expressed that there were knots in my shoulders that needed to be worked on. It was only in the last 5 minutes of the massage that she was able to give me the deep tissue massage on my shoulders that I had asked for at the beginning of the massage. Once I got dressed and came out of the room, we had another unpleasant interaction. She argued with me, claiming that I told her she was giving me the right pressure. At one point I said "we don't need to argue. I communicated what I needed 3 times and you were not able to meet those needs." I was appalled that the masseuse was arguing with me about the massage. I’ve been getting massages here since 2021 with Mireille, who I adore. I have supported this business through the pandemic. I am unsure if Adrienne was simply having a bad day, but to argue with a client because you could not execute the proper massage that was booked? No good. I booked a deep tissue and got a Swedish massage. It was sorely disappointing. I reached out to Healing Hands twice in the last week and an half about this experience and no one has responded to my emails. They have lost my business permanently.

And Cagney's massages are always perfectly tailored to what I need in that moment. When I was recovering from surgery, Cagney was there for me with her wisdom, supportive ideas, and healing touch. Healing Hands Wellness Center is a gem on Larchmont! It’s welcoming and cozy from the moment you walk in. I have had massages with Mireille who is super knowledgeable and experienced. I have also had excellent accupuncture here. I highly recommend the services offered at Healing Hands.
