Nearly 9 years ago I was unable to get out of bed due to bad back pain. I was nervous about chiropractic care but made an appointment with Dr. Dunlap. Best decision ever! He recommended an MRI before doing any adjustments which was a wise decision.Right at the beginning he showed me three stretches to do to ease my pain in between adjustments. After that I needed adjustments about 3 times a week for a couple of weeks then I was able to go twice a week. After a few months I was only needing to go every 3 or 4 weeks. Now I'm able to go up to roughly 3 months with no pain. My advice is that you and whatever chiropractor you use need to work together as a team although I'm sticking with Dr. Dunlap for life! My part has been to listen and do the stretches which is crucial. His part is adjusting the problem areas and guiding you along the way. Also, don't give up after a few visits. It works if you give it time! I highly recommend Dr. Dunlap! I'm going on almost 9 years of being free of back pain without surgery.
