2023 Update (5 years later): We still can't say enough great things about Healthwise! This team is compassionate, helpful, always friendly, responsive, deeply caring and they just know how to help Alaskans get back into the activities that they love! From 2018: Dr. Elliot is an incredible physical therapist. It amazes me that we have someone so gifted right here in Eagle River. She is caring, has lots of "tricks" to reduce and relieve pain, and can come up with all kinds of exercise modifications to make strengthening doable for anyone. She is encouraging and an immense help toward getting back on track after injury. I highly recommend her, five stars are not enough.

I have suffered with low back pain for most of my adult life. I found Healthwise about 5 years ago and they have saved me. I have been to other Chiropractors and PT's and have never felt like I got anything out of it. I was skeptical to try another Chiro or PT. Then I met Dr. Young. She has helped me tremendously and helped me become more mobile and encouraged me to be active. I went from basically sedentary to hiking, running, and backpacking and logging 100+ miles a month. I also found huge relief with PT from Dr. Shannon Davis and now Marc Snyder. Madeline is awesome too! They have all helped me to be more to continue to do all of the new activities I have discovered. I thought my low back pain was going to keep me down forever. I found hope from Healthwise. Thank you all for keeping me mobile! I would be lost without my hiking and running. And I cannot leave a review and leave out Trisha. She has been amazing with keeping up with all of the administrative requirements when using VA to get my care. Thank you all!!!

Fabulous staff! I have been a regular client for 3 months for neck pain and migraines. The Physical Therapists are great and I have benefited from Shannon’s dry needling. Madalynn is an awesome and strong message therapist. The facility is very comfortable and everyone is chill. The chiropractic appointments are hard to get so I haven’t had any yet.
